Welcome to Sofft. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Jaclyn Hauben ("Sofft," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Sofft mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sofft. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, are legally able to enter into a binding contract, and have not been previously suspended or banned from Sofft.

The Service is intended for college students and young adults located in the United States. We may decline service to anyone for any reason at our discretion.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• Promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Not share your account with anyone else or allow others to access it.

You may not create more than one account, impersonate any person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself.

3. License to Use Sofft

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Sofft for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not sublicense, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service.

4. User Content

"User Content" means any content you submit to Sofft, including profile information, photos, voice clips, prompts, messages, and any other materials.

Your Ownership. You retain ownership of your User Content.

License to Sofft. By submitting User Content, you grant Sofft a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your User Content within and in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except to the extent your User Content has been shared with other users who have not deleted it.

Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of submitting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or the law.
